My "day job" since 1990 is with the Kansas Department of Transportation, where I currently manage a database reporting team. Over the years, God grew the ministry seed within my heart and confirmed His "call" on my life in 2006. Since then, I have taken ministry classes and am a District Licensed Minister in the Church of the Nazarene.
My heart's cry is for us (you) to know Christ and to continue to grow spiritually with Him and in healthy relationships with others.
Other Interests: Singing, Bass Guitar, Basketball, Banana Cream Pie, and Mopar Vehicles!
Life Goal: I refuse to live for short-term thrills resulting in long-term loss. "What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?" Matthew 16:26
I was born in Japan during the Vietnam War. However, I have lived in Topeka, Kansas the majority of my life. Topeka is home, and Fairlawn Church of the Nazarene (FNC) is home. I began attending FNC in 1977 at age 8. In 1987 in front of the Senior High Sunday School class, I told Lisa I would really like for her to be my wife! This was her first Sunday visit, and before we even knew each other! No one else knew it then, but the Lord spoke it in my heart that she would be my wife one day. We married in 1989, and have been blessed with 22 years of marriage and two beautiful daughters.
