I was born and raised in Indiana. Once a red-blooded Hoosier, always a red-blooded Hoosier – however, I do bleed KSU purple these days!
I graduated from Mid-America Nazarene University (MNU) with a B.A. and received a M.A. from Nazarene Theological Seminary and am an ordained minister.
After serving 13 years as a missionary in the Philippines, I taught at MNU, continued missions work through Nazarene Missions International, and in recent years involved in pastoral ministry.

My two favorite Scriptures are Jeremiah 29:11-14 and Ps. 46:10a.
Ps. 91:14-16 also became a favorite during a recent difficult time physically. My favorite pastime is shopping, drinking strong Brazilian coffee, and doing projects/spending time with my husband, Ken.
